Q: What transportation is available to and from LAX?

A: There are 4 options available.

•  FlyAway Bus – Departs for Union Train station every one – half hour and picks up at all terminals under the green “ FlyAway, Buses and Long Distance Vans” sign. The travel time is approximately 45 minutes or less. The cost of a one – 2ay ticket is $3.00. After arriving at Union Station, guest may walk or take a short taxi cab ride to the hotel.

•  Super Shuttle : Departs LAX to the hotel from “FlyAway, Buses and Long Distance Vans:” signs. Reservations are suggested. The approximate cost is $15.00 per person. 1 (800) Blue- Van

•  Taxi Service – Departs LAX in front of each terminal. Cab fares can range from $45 - $70 or more depending on the day and time of travel.

•  Car Rental: There are numerous rental agencies at each terminal. Reservations are highly suggested

Q: I won't have a car during my visit. How can I get around Los Angeles?

A: Public transportation is the most efficient and economical way to travel throughout the city. The Best Western Dragon Gate Inn is conveniently located next to the hub of all public transportation.

DASH Bus : Covers Downtown Los Angeles via 6 different routes. Route B departs one block from the Best Western Dragon Gate Inn every 10 minutes from 5:50 AM to 6:30 Pm Monday through Friday. Single trip costs. $0.25 with transfer to adjoining lines at $.10 per trip. The DASH system covers Chinatown, Japan Town, Olvera Street, Fashion District, Financial District, Jewelry District, Staples Sports Center, Los Angeles Convention Center , Union Station, The Music Center and the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) – MTA operates 200 buy lines and 4 metro Rail train routes throughout Los Angeles County. The Gold Line is located 1 block from the Best Western Dragon Gate Inn. The Gold Line will link you up to: Universal Studios, Hollywood, Kodak Theatre, Long Beach, Pasadena Old Town (Rose Parade Route and Rose Bowl), the San Gabriel Valley and the San Fernando Valley.

Q: What dining options are available nearby?

A: There are approximately 80 restaurants located within 1 mile of the hotel. In addition to fabulous Chinese cuisine, there are Continental, Mexican, Japanese, Thai and other international restaurants. A variety of American restaurants can also be found within the area.

If a light meal is preferred, The Hill Street Dave features homemade pizza, sandwiches, and salads. A variety of beverages is available including: smoothies, soft drinks, exotic teas and coffee drinks.

Q: Does the Best Western Dragon Gate Inn have internet access?

A: The Best Western Dragon Gate Inn property is entirely internet ready for both indoor and outdoor use. WIFI and Hardwired Internet access have been provided for your use free of charge. For those guest that do not travel with a laptop, the Hill Street Café has a computer with internet access for all hotel guests.

Q: What are the check-in and check- out times?

A: Official check-in time is 3:00 PM. However, as soon as rooms are cleaned and available we will always make rooms available for check-in. In the event that rooms are not ready early in the morning, you can always store your luggage with as and check- in later.

Official check- out time is 11:00 AM. Please check with the front desk to see if a later check-out is available. We will do our best to accommodate your lodging needs.

Q: Are there any sight seeing tours at the Best Western Dragon Gate Inn ?

A: Yes, there are many tour companies that will pick up and drop off from our property. They will only take reservations once you are at the property.

Q: What is your cancellation policy?

A: If the booking was made through us directly, the cancellation is 4:00 PM on the day of arrival. However, due to third party companies, you must be aware of their individual cancellation policies. Many companies will have restrictions on their reservations and we have no control over those policies. Please check with these companies to find out what their cancellation policies are before you make your reservations.
